Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Global have held talks about a potential merger of the two media companies, Variety has confirmed.

    WB is awful about wasting and mishandling IP (see: Babylon 5, for example). I sincerely hope they don’t get anywhere near Star Trek.

      unfortunately it seems like we’ll have to root for an acquisition by Universal, because it’s almost a certainty Paramount will be bought out. they’re worth like 1/3rd of what they used to be and the alternative is probably being scrapped for parts
