This isn’t news, it’s been the case for years.

No shit. Even with health insurance i cant afford it.

Fucking sad.

This isn’t new. I’ve had GERD eating away at my esophagus for years, have pissed blood on many occasions, had painful swollen untreated blot clots in my dick, dealt with occasional testicular torsion since I was in elementary school, had lifelong depression with suicidal ideation for decades, have a now-crippling spine injury from an old job when I was too young and insecure to report it, and have been without glasses for months at this point, among other things.

I have only ever been able to see a general practitioner four times a year to refill my antidepressants, and an optometrist once every few years for glasses or contacts. Some times, like now, I simply have to go without either.

Hell, everything else is just shit I have to go without, except for my massive uninsured debt from two ER visits.

My body is falling apart, and I honestly don’t care anymore. I’ll never be able to afford getting health care. Why bother?
