Voice calls and Video calls, Is it e2ee?

just wanna be aware, since I do calls alot.

1:1 calls are end-to-end encrypted by default [1] since WebRTC is encrypted [2] and the traffic is routed directly between the clients after initialization [3][4]. Group calls still rely on Jitsi [4] which is transport encrypted by default (so it’s decrypted at the server). Jitsi supports optional E2EE in Browser and native Jitsi Client [5] but I think the Widget in Element does not support it.

How are you able to comment on a deleted post?

Anyway thanks for your effort in making this great comment, this does answer all of my possible qiestion. I was wondering about that because I did something very weird with my friend on camera.

I don’t know. The post was visible to me in the Lemmur app (and it is also visible in the web and the matrix community even if not logged in). So maybe a bug in Lemmy or federation?
