I track the investments with the “@ notation” since I came to hledger from ledger-cli and I don’t see any clear improvement to convert it to “standard postings with equity:conversion accounts”. Any improvement? only to get to balance the book?
Yes, no real benefit that I see, especially since you can generate them on the fly with --infer-equity when you want to see a perfectly balanced
bsereport. Though for some complex transactions inferring won’t work and you’d have to manually add the equity postings to those.
