I believe the law allows for mobile street vendors but not while encroaching the public spaces. While I sympathize with the vendors who are probably just trying to eke out a living, public spaces being used for private uses must be curbed. Atleast monetized in the worst case.
Yeah, nominal road tax or property tax would be nice. But then it will legitmize those spaces. Maybe a constant monthly fine? But then, cops might be taking that illegaly already…
