Recently replaced my portable charge and this one has a screen to see the power transfer, is 96w in spec for the FW13 12th gen i7-1280p? I don’t really care that it’s pulling that much as long as it’s not abnormal for it to do so. I used to have a 65w charger so that’s all it got max, this one I guess goes up to 140w for power delivery. Should I change a setting or is everything all good here?

Yeah I’m pretty sure everything in fine, framework shipped the laptop with a 60w charger just to balance output and how big they wanted to make the brick.

Framework laptops can draw up to 100 w but the laptop will only charge at a maximum of 60 w. The extra 40 w is additional headroom for the processor and will allow you to achieve its max performance.

Thanks for the quick responses! Good to know what its limits are. I was guessing it the Anker brick wasn’t just pumping max since it got up to 136w on a MacBook Pro and the only got to 96w on the FW.
