For some added context, this is a picture of Mr Popo and I believe the line is specifically from DBZA.
Now tell them about the pecking order.
There are worms
Then dirt
Then players that split up
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside the dirt, popo’s stool, kami, and popo. Any questions maggots?
Is that Mr Popo?
Yeah but the version of DBZ abrieged. Which I hoghly recommand as its funny as fuck
@sammytheman666@ttrpg.network @Currens_felis@lemmy.ml Not only very funny but, in my opinion, a better story with better pacing and better characters than the original.
Mr. Popo as a horrifying sadistic eldritch being was absolutely an improvement.
It’s starts a little rough but quickly turns into something truly amazing
I dont know, the redneck in episode 1 sold me
Personally for me it was the line:
“Look Vegeta, a pokemon.”
Frickin broke me lol
For me it was “Kage bunshin no jutsu!”
I noticed the familiar but unexpected sound effect just before the line, and then it hit me full force
Care to elaborate ? Im curious
Remember the part where Krillin and Piccollo make 2 copies of themselves to fight Nappa? They edited that moment to look like they make Naruto’s technique
“Oh god no, mah marijuana patch!!..”
Man I’ve gotta rewatch it now.
“Protect me, gun!”
Yup, it’s Mr Popo
I’m currently watching DBZ abridged BTW. I’m on season 3.
First time watching it?
Yes, I watched the hellsing abridged many times over tho
The last time they did this, I found five corpses.
He laughed when I said 5.
YOU MUST CONSTRUCT ADDITIONAL PYLONS!
“Got your zerg right here, hehehe.”
What??
For anyone not aware, TFS did a bunch of scenes from the Buu saga to help TotallyNotMark’s review of said arc. There’s a compilation on their main channel.
IMO splitting the party makes for very fun story telling but too many campaigns require players to stick together otherwise they would die.
