If you’re out of the loop, the Sweet Pea Festival organization commissioned an artist to carve the remains of a tree which (I think) was struck by lightning.

This is the carving they made! It’s absolutely gorgeous and well worth the trip over to view it in person!

I’m personally worried that in time, some of the more fragile parts are going to break off, like the Big Horn Sheep’s Horn. Here’s to hoping it gets a nice life though!
