Record coral cover is being seen across much of the Great Barrier Reef as it recovers from past storms and mass-bleaching events. But the new coral taking over is leaving the reef more vulnerable to future devastating impacts, according to the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS).

Aren’t they planning to build a hotel under water in direct line of site to it? These improvements might not be long for this world.
Oh haven’t heard of that, but wouldn’t surprise me.
Just saw this. It’s crazy how fast nature can fix it self if we just stop hurting it. The pandemic has done quite some good in getting rid of cruise ships and tourism. I kind of hope it continues and that we learn to leave nature alone.
