I think everyone knew it was going to happen. Add Dotson to the list of Steelers lineman that was being considered a saviour of the team before even getting a regular season snap, only to get cut or traded.

He looked really good at right guard his rookie year, when he was subbing for DeCastro. Even that year, he didn’t look as comfortable on the left side subbing for Feiler.
He has said in interviews that he feels more comfortable on the right side, but was trying to work on the left. Even during this preseason he got a few snaps at RG and looked way better.
I hope he gets a chance to play on the right in LA.
