for elaboration, if a worker made $140 for being there for 8 hours one day, the CEO made $72,000, so in one day about twice what that person would have made for working 300 days that year.
It should be criminal
Forgive me but why do we care so much about CEO pay? It’s a handy comparator but isn’t profit taking by shareholders the bigger concern?
How big a deal is one highly compensated position compared to the systemic wage suppression we’ve seen?
