1. The right to ask questions

The visitors of the community have the right to ask questions in good faith, either in the form of post marked by the flair Question/Debate or comments, which are relevant to the community and does not have the tendency to cause a brigade. The interpretation of these is up to the moderation team whose duty, in this case, is to ensure healthy discussions in the community.

2. Strike Rules

In the events of rule breaks the moderation team may give a strike and after three strikes they may ban the users. The moderation team reserves the right to use bans without strikes in the event where the brigading or the trolling/bad faith of the user is obvious. In this case the moderation team should clearly indicate in a mod comment that it will do so.

3. Rules of arguments

This community is open to reasonable debates about subjects related to socialism, Marxism, and anti-imperialism with substantial evidence for criticisms but does not tolerate baseless attacks against the mentioned concepts as well as against another visitor of the sub. Therefore, the followings are considered a violation of rules: Promotion of Anti-communist ideas, Injection of Bourgeoise ideals into Marxism and personal attacks against another user (such as those based on: Sex, Ethnicity, nation, or religion).

4. Relevancy

A post must be relevant to the community, and a comment must be relevant to the topic of the post. Those contents that violate this are removed and for repeated offense the moderation team may use its rights as described by rule 2.

5. Memes :

This is not a meme sub. If you want to post low effort memes, you can do so in countless other subs. But if a user wants to post something more high effort that resembles more a propaganda poster, we may allow this. But we still maintain the final say in whether to approve or remove as we see fit.

6. On non-English content :

If you do post an article in a foreign language you have to flair it with the specific flair of the language that the article is written in. This flair could also be used on an English article about a specific non-English country. Also, users are encouraged to post the auto translated google translate versions, or at least post this version on the comments.

7. On posts from the same organization/party/platform etc.

Posts from the same YouTube channels, parties, blogposts, platforms etc. can only be posted at a maximum number of 2 per week, with exceptions made upon contacting the moderation team.

8. On trolling

This rule bans trolling, defined as behaviours or actions designed to sow discord, disrupt or derail the community in ways not covered by other rules. This could include (but is not limited to) posting obviously offensive materials or comments, numerous low-quality posts, posting content that is obviously unacceptable in other ways, low-level harassment (e.g. inappropriate name calling), and derailing discussions.
