War doch klar, ich erinnere mal an die Anfänge von “Haken dran”, da ging es um Musks dubiose Abstimmungen, ob Trumps Account wieder reaktiviert werden soll. Da wurde auch schon mal auf seine Follower geschaut und ein ähnliches Fazit gezogen.
Und da er sich öfter als Lügner entblößt hat, trau ich ihm alles zu.
Meine große Hoffnung ist, dass die amerikanische Justiz im verborgenen so lange Material sammelt, bis sie alá Trump eine Reihe an Anklagen auspackt, aus der er sich nicht mehr rauswinden kann.
Ich vermute, dass seit der Nummer mit der Starlink Abschaltung während der ukrainischen Kherson Offensive FBI und CIA ihn überwachen und Kompromat sammeln. Das ist jetzt eine Verschwörungstheorie, aber Starlink ist eine Technlogie zum größten Teil finanziert vom Pentagon mit dem Zweck, unangreifbare Satellitenkommunikation im Kriegsfall/Atomkriegsfall mit China zu haben. -> Das ist eine Schlüsseltechnologie für die Amerikaner um ihre globale militärische Überlegenheit in Zukunft zu behalten. Die zivile Nutzung ist da ein Bonus, aber nicht der Kern.
Dass da ein verrückter Authist einfach mal nach eigenen politischen Vorlieben das Netzwerk an und aus schalten kann, wird da wahrscheinlich ein paar Leute wach gerüttelt haben.

-> Straw man argument, that was not the point of the article. It’s not about “social media”, it’s about Twitter and Musks personal account.
Musk claimed prior to Twitters aquisition that there are too many bot accounts (he even argued to back down from buying the company because of the huge number of bot accounts), and since he bought it there are no metrics indicating that the problem got better. It even got much worse looking at all the recent instability and emergency measures to fight bots.
I agree with you. I just don’t care about Twitter and definitely don’t think that follower count is an important metric.

Musk weaponizes his account and misuses polls as justifications to unban far right accounts and other shady decisions. Having a lot of bot followers to manipulate his polls just paints the picture of him being an dangerous man.
