Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois sustained ACL damage in a training session on Thursday and is set to miss the rest of the season. The Belgium international will now have surgery on the problem. Courtois, 31, has been a constant presence in the Real side since joining from Chelsea in 2018. He has played 230 times for the Spanish club, winning two La Liga titles and one Champions League.     Holy shit.

    Saw the Buendia blown ACL and thought damn, there’s always a couple of guys in every sport that looks to be positioned to really excel the upcoming year and they tear something and they’re gone for the year. And there goes Courtois.
