I don’t think it’ll be super expensive, just a new pulley I believe, but the crappy part is I just spent all of my free cash on guitar pedals, so now I’ll have to borrow the money from my roommate.

The coolest one is a Nux Duotime delay, I feel like I could just float into space with that thing lol. Got it used for a good price too!

It’s dope lol, but it’s one of those things that you have to create a use-case for. Most of the music that anyone plays will not need or want this, but maybe it’s just waiting for the right weirdo…

And that’s exactly how I’ve found myself justifying having 3 different pedals that do delay/reverb in some way (I have 7 pedals on my board in total, lol). But I do find trying out new effects or instruments leads me to write something I wouldn’t have otherwise written on an acoustic guitar. “More reverb!”

I just use the reverb on my Marshall, since I want it all the time anyways. But I do have that thing cranked to 11!

So I’ve had some “belt squeal” for months, no big deal just get some dish soap, right? Turns out it wasn’t the belt, but the pulley, so now the belt isn’t tight enough to give power to the alternator. I was trying to limp it home, but it died on the highway, luckily on a downward grade so I could coast it in neutral onto the shoulder. I’m going to thank my Dad so much tomorrow for the AAA subscription, really handy to have in these situations.
