I would be far more shocked that none of the places outside of Toowoomba are sufficiently Woomba.
There’s gotta be at least a few places that are Woomba enough.
It bothers me an irrational amount that “Toowoomba” is clearly far too far west on this map.
I can only conclude that in fact, Toowoomba is insufficiently woomba, and the place that is toowoomba is Roma and St George.
Doesn’t this imply a ring, no matter how thick, around the black spot that is just “Woomba”?
Is Woomba-ness a continuous function? If so, you’d be right, per the intermediate value theorem.
I’m not sure that Woomba-ness is continuous, though.
