That’s exactly what happened. In fact many Western leaders (like Churchill) in so-called liberal democracies praised Mussolini etc. for being anti-leftist and crushing worker’s rights. Most petit bourgeoisie and big time capitalists happily embraced fascism. It was one of the many reasons countries like Brtiain and the USA rejected the initial waves of Jewish refugees before the war, and instead sent them back to Germany.
Yea pretty much, Blackshirts and Reds has a good summary of this behaviour. Great book, really easy to read and kinda hard to put down.
It seems exactly the same to me. I don’t know why they would change how the app works negatively without a guarantee that they are off the hook.
