I think it’s just over saturated and had a bit too much photoshop. Everything is a bit too smooth.

      Gorgeous car though.

Yeah - I can’t assert with any confidence that it is AI. The composition is not what it tends to do, the car seems properly symmetrical, and nothing’s gloopy in ways outside what presumably-1970s Mercedeses aimed for. But the gestalt image has the vibe of a million AI pictures - especially the gamma curve for the car itself.

We have to ask: what model of Mercedes-Benz had that air scoop, right under the wipers?

No, y’know, now that I’m looking at it again, what’s up with the passenger side headrest? Is the door handle limited to the door? Is the grille logo even symmetrical?

What fucking Mercedes had a flat hood ornament?

The head rest has a concave curve, which is what Mercedes did back then. Yea, it looks odd, but it’s correct.

The door handle is a chrome loop with a thumb button, kind of typical for cars in the 60’/70’s. I miss those handles, very satisfying mechanical button.

That’s a Mercedes 250 SL from around 1966 and I would bet it is a real picture. A search with DDG returns a bunch of them. What a beauty!

Is that the same chassis that Chrysler used in the 90’s/early 2000’s for the Crossfire?
