Okay, I believe this is true and the guy talking is coming from a decent place, but we got rid of pop ups before so it can be done. This is not a futile thing that we have to put up with because Google gets what Google wants. Don’t underestimate the power of people hating pop ups.
Or like Google shoving .webm down our throats as well?

I just change it to .jpg and it works fine. Is it not supposed to work that way?
