It sure sounds like the trade association needs to bring a better offer to the union if the impact is going to be so severe.
I’m usually in support of unions, but some of the demands here are just backwards and stupid. Preventing automation is a big one.

I mean that’s probably part of the point, but other than that is there even good timing for a port strike?
It could have easily been worse closer to the pandemic when shipping was already fucked. So now is actually a good time!
