It must be exhausting, being mad about shit that doesn’t affect you all the time.

God damn, every time with this.

Ghost of Tsushima was amazing, I’m looking forward to the sequel.

Huh - if she’s the mo-cap actor for the main character, I’m really hoping the game gives you the option to perch somewhere, like a bisexual little gargoyle. It’d be a real shame if you couldn’t.

Eirika Ishii mentioned!! They’re great, I’m not a Ghosts fan but I’ll be excited to see their full performance once the game comes out.

That doesnt mean “of course jins story is forgotten” it just means it isnt the primary focus of this game’s narrative. Flashbacks, written text & stories that survive to the current game are just two ways they could easily tie the two stories together.

I’m sure his impact will be felt in the setting probably as you describe, but people getting bent out of shape because its a woman are chuds and losers; it was never his story to begin with.

No other literary work has jumped time like that and left its old protagonist behind. None at all.

At this point I don’t even care about pointing out these bigots, I’m just so tired of constant ignorance and hate towards such non-issues. These guys are fueled by engagement, so it’s just best to ignore them, especially on Twitter.

Both being a bigot for money and pointing out bigots for money is big business. Neither is going anywhere fast.

I just don’t care. Woke. Not woke. Pavlov’s Schrodinger’s woke.

I don’t care. If the game is good it’s good. If the game is bad then it’s bad.

Mad shitheads on the internet don’t influence my purchase choices. They just annoy everyone around them. Like militant vegans or hipsters. They’re a nuisance.

Mainstream gaming, is on aggregate, getting worse and worse over time. Everyone wants to feel empowered to stop that from happening.

You could punch upward, targeting management of stuidos and publishers.

You could look inward, and make a commitment to sincerely boycott games from companies that consistely release games in an unfinished state, use dark patterns to exploit gambling addictions for profit, mistreat their staff, etc.

Or you could punch down, and target LGBT creators, who are largely individual contributors and completely unrelated with any of the root causes of the decline in game quality. But this one is SO much easier than the other two, so maybe you’ll do this one so that you can feel like you’re doing something without really having to do anything. Especially since it confims some things you heard from politicians that need to distract you from how their only policy is to make life better for rich people.

Delayed PC release is the biggest downside. I guess the no games box needs a win and I’m usually a patient gamer, but it is unfortunate.
