I view this graph differently, the Biden line is pretty close to the target line through 2030 before it diverges. Estimates decrease in accuracy further into the future, particularly if we’re assuming the political calculus stays the same over the next 6 years. The Inflation Reduction Act was the most powerful climate crisis bill we were going to get with the current political situation and it has made a big impact. Particularly with building green economy jobs in swing states. As the swing states see more and more benefits in coming years, that will change the political dynamics of what is possible

I recommend voting blue then making that what independent patriots that value gun access and God criticize the Dems for going against what the Pope has declared God’s will on climate change (which is to save the planet by whatever means we can, including decarbonizing) as well as endangering our children with not only their existence, but huge financial debts by destroying the God-given protective mechanisms pur ecosystem provides. Killing the planet for a quick-buck is Satan’s work and bad for our troops.

As we keep the pressure up, the oil giants will eventually weaken to the point they pivot and become titans of renewable energy… Or die because of legal debts, hopefully meaning their main investors lose their shirts to the benefit of the companies that valued the future well-being of people. Gotta make sure the invisible hand selects for the well-being of people, or we will die for failure to evolve fast enough.

No matter the ruling classes position on climate change, it is not, has not been, and never will be enough
