found about this app recently and decided to install it. Not sure what this means but I’m worried because its the SSD my OS is installed on. (all my files are already backed up to backblaze)

EDIT: turns out its my old external hard drive with issues not my ssd. All good! thanks for the help!

First of all, that’s an HDD because SSDs don’t usually rotate at 5400rpm. Your system SSD is probably drive C, not drive D.

Second of all, you should probably replace the HDD or at least don’t use it to store stuff you couldn’t stand to lose.

Your OS is installed to C:

This is a 2TB Seagate HDD. It means that the disk is degraded, and that will only get worse with time and use.

It means that it’s time to replace the disk.

Edit: just saw the other comment. Yeah this looks like a HDD. If so dismiss everything I said below.

How long have you had that ssd? SSDs have a limited number of read/writes and you could be approaching the limit.

It could still last a while though. Just keep backing up your stuff and if it starts acting slow or not working properly, you know its time to get a new drive.

It just tells you it had got some Bad sectors on your disk. In total 63 ( or at least if i calculated the raw values right ). But if i calculate the time you used it for a year or so and if that has already bad sectors is not a good sign the disk will survive for very long. ( and yes this is a HDD not a SSD )

I would personally not use it for any important stuff.
