This is by design, they’re trying to prove that Government is just as ineffective as they say it is. They’re specifically there to keep Government from getting anything done.
Yes it’s exactly what Charles Koch has paid them to do
Congress see that as a collective, we’ve given away our power. Like the proverbial elephant that has been tethered long enough, once the tether is removed, said elephant won’t stray beyond a given parameter, because it is used to being tethered. One party’s constituents has rejected those tethers, but it’s mistaken that the other party’s constituents are their captors. The other party’s constituents haven’t yet discovered they are untethered, but are likewise under the delusion that it is the other party’s constituents that are their captors. A few of the more astute delusionally believe it is the governing apparatus (all 3 branches), are the captors, when they are merely the means of captivity, the tether; several among us see it is the wealthy and their various instruments of wealth, and still rail at the rope (the governing body, which has gotten itself tangled in among us, and can’t escape itself or captors). So even though we see our captors clearly, we’re still focusing neither on them, nor ourselves, which are the only two parties who can free us. One party will see us die in futility before severing the rope. That means we either free ourselves or bear it.
The most unproductive House in decades. I’m old enough to remember when government shutdowns and legislative inaction were considered political suicide. Many of these idiots survived their primaries already, and I can’t imagine them being massively swept out even in the best-case scenario.
Now we might as well schedule the shut down crises they are so predictable.
Well, they did a really good job showing us what Republican leadership looks like.
How dare you ruin the
goodname of clowns.
House leaves town until September with nothing to show voters
FTFY
They showed Hunter’s dick.
… and then got him convicted on charges of illegally possessing a weapon. Must have been massive.
Didn’t Cannon just toss 150 years of precedent by invalidating special prosecutors…?
Yes, but only for Republicans. See, there is no “R” in the word Invalidate, but there is a “D”. Checkmate, liberals! You can’t logic your way out of that one!
GOP logic. I wish I was joking.

Donald Trump’s special prosecutor is invalid because he’s investigating a former president who is now out of office. A former president cannot be investigated for actions taken during a former term because that term is over and Donald Trump is now a private citizen, and since Congress declined to remove Trump from office, his actions are therefore A-OK.
-
Hunter Biden’s special prosecutor is valid because the protections discussed above do not extend to the President’s son (unless their son is named or married to a Trump, because reasons. Look, just don’t think too hard, ok?).
-
Biden’s special prosecutor is valid because he’s a current president and his current actions are being investigated. The Supreme Court just ruled that presidents are all-but-immune from prosecution but that doesn’t apply to Biden because Supreme Court rulings don’t impact ongoing investigations unless the SC specifically says so, and Biden being given these special protections would interfere with ongoing investigations. And since he has already admitted to not having the mental acuity to do the job by dropping out of the race (yes, this is their logic), actions taken as a result of mental deterioration are not considered official acts and are therefore subject to prosecution.
It all makes sense as long as you remember a few golden rules: (1) Trump must get his way at all times, (2) Just don’t think about it too hard. Or at all. It’s already been shown to destroy brain cells. And (3), if all else fails, just gnaw on this lead paint for a while and wash it down with a little orange meth.

The REPUBLICAN-LED House doing absolutely NOTHING is PROOF that DEMOCRATS are bad at Governing!
