This is great but, I’d also like to see progress on dealing with insulin resistance as well. I hope my pancreas is still working well enough though. I’m going get a c peptide test in a few months to see. Idk, so far I got normal fasting sugars after a lot of scale back on diet and weight loss a year after diagnosis. But, I’m always haunted by the long term and how it will affect my life expectancy. This is especially hard to escape when so many people I know have to deal with it too.

Nevertheless, here’s to hoping the CPC, in keeping to the communist ethos of improving the lives of people, fully invests in the thorough long term research that will cure this disease at all its stages.
