Was in Chicago for work and managed this 22-23” pike on my medium light travel rod. Was hoping for sheepshead but found this one instead. Made up for so few bites. Probably also indicates I was on the wrong lure in the wrong environment.
Posting as I’m hoping this fishing community can build over time.

Chuncker for its length
Caught a 22” earlier this year and this definitely had more heft. Eating fat off the docks I guess.
I caught a 45" tiger muskie when I was young, probably 12. I’d love to catch a fish like that again
Nice fish! What depth were you spinning and what time of day? I’ve had a few jacks but never when they’re supposed to be feeding!
Were you fishing for sport or was that supper?
