First time posting here after Reddit ate itself. I’ve been working on expanding the stereo parts of my signal chain so have been moving things around a bit and reconfiguring for a slightly less gain heavy (but still very gain heavy) board. Recently added the Horrothia Type One stereo chorus which I absolutely adore - very no frills controls but super lush wide soundstage at the lowest intensity setting and kind of gets near a warbly shallow water sound at the higher levels.

Chain is: tuner> sp comp> Dynox Gene Fucking Hackman boost> Bondi Del Mar mkii> Toneczar OTP (the king of big muffs)> Blackhawk Balrog fuzzstortion> Carolina Crom fuzz> DAM Dope Priest> Source Audio EQ>Montreal Assembly count to five> Native Audio Midnight phaser> Analogworn Noir tremolo (the best)> Horrothia Type One stereo chorus> GFI Orca delay> UA Dream amp sim> GFI Skylar reverb> Hologram Microcosm going into a pinstripe DISO box for XLR out or to a Princeton and a Bassman circuit for stereo amp out.

I’m a sucker for elephant themed pedals and I will be getting that horrorhia! Also glad to hear you like the Del Mar! I may have to pick one of those up too

Lovely board. I totally forgot about the Balrog… another thing to add to my Reverb watch list.

What’s your “go-to” gain pedal on the board? I feel like I’d get option paralysis with so much great gear!

The Balrog is seriously such a beast - the low end on it is unbelievable.

I play a pretty broad range of stuff from indie through to sludgy doom metal so I move between gain pedals a fair bit, but the Toneczar gets a lot of use all the way across the range from jangly to high gain stuff, and I’ve been really really impressed with the how the Del Mar stacks with other drives as a bit of a base layer of grit.

Nice. I’m in the same boat that I need to cover a ton of ground sonically… from subtle to sludge and everything in between. Love your board.
