Imagine some annoying OS doesn’t let you pull off the cord ‘safely’ when you are chased by hitmen for no reason… Only to get to the safe place and see ‘blah-blah your storage device should be formatted before it can be used’.

My takeaway was: you can never get room service when you most need it.

This was my favourite movie as a kid, I watched it like 50 times. I only just now learned it wasn’t just a novel but a William Gibson novel 😑
