    The Leafs have dug a sizable hole against the Bruins in such a familiar fashion that any casual onlooker could basically recite the lyrics from memory. They’re making more mistakes at five-on-five, they’re soundly losing the special-teams battle and they’ve transformed from being one of the NHL’s best offensive teams in the regular season to one that can’t score more than two goals per night in the playoffs.

    Why is that nearly every year for the past 8 years the story is “Leafs were doing soooo well in the regular season and now they are choking hard”? (Last year or i forget which was a small exception, they did decently well through the first round until Florida’s team basically injured Toronto’s team out of the playoffs).

    I remember there were some issues with the goalie Samsonov around December and it sounds they have just done alright for the rest of the season…
