Man Lemmy really is just nothing but people complaining about things, eh? Literally just adding music videos to a music app, and people act like it’s the downfall of civilization.

I like the idea but it is Spotify so it probably wont last long and will have some sort of ad in it.

I’ve never got an ad in Spotify since I started paying for it 11 years ago, once and a while I get a pop-up about a new feature but never trying to sell me anything.

Do you not pay for Spotify? Maybe that’s why there’s ads… ya know like anything else.

I pay the highest subscription possible and get promoted playlists, promoted artists, promoted podcasts and despite having the feature disablerd I get in app notifications of concerts.

Maybe wait for your answer before commenting.

Does it bother you when youtube recommends videos to you too, they arent ads they are recommending you new content. Do you not go to shows? I love that I get a heads up when bands I follow are coming to town so I can get tickets and clear work if I have to. You are clearly one of those people who are impossible to please, but heres a novel idea for you, if you dont like it stop paying for it, dumb ass. Im sure the alternative services will be any different. and also youre also an asshole and I hope you have a bad day.

God you are a very angry man with all your assumptions. Recommendations are not promoted content, they are different.

I had a great day I am off work enjoying myself.

Nooooooo, the service that uses a video hosting website as a music service has music videos? Surely not. Who else has music videos? Kerrang!?

How about add the ability to permanently disable the last added feature instead. Smart shuffle is fucking terrible and just gets in the way, I assume this will be the same.

People here complaining about being able to watch music videos on a music streaming service are completely out of their minds. Go find someone to hug you guys.

… who wants their phone screen on to watch a video using Spotify… which I assume will be monetized to cover the cost, like… aren’t music apps just supposed to be in the background playing music while you do literally anything else but stare at the music app?
