Mine too actually!.. I guess not anymore. Might have something to do with playing hundreds of hours of 007 nightfire as a kid.

He’s the one whose movies were in theaters in the 90’s and early 00’s. (Personally, I’d go with Dalton.)

That is so much of what drives people’s opinions I think. My favourite bands are still the ones that I found when I was in highschool and college. Some of them were current and otherwise.

If I had to pick a favourite bond actor it would be Brosnan because he was bond when I was kid.

I have to remind myself of this when something gets remade. It doesn’t mean the first one was good, that was just what my nostalgia reminds me of.

Not saying nuance doesn’t exist, but for things that people don’t really think about, nostalgia is powerful.

Thank you. I was about to ask for those of us who don’t follow actors, who that was

Will always remember when I was playing multiplayer GoldenEye in college and one of the guys said this as he was killing Bond (complete with accent)! RIP Robin.

Yeah… I stopped having a favorite “actor-who-played-a-personification-of-rapacious-British-imperialsm” when I realized that they were acting as a personification of rapacious British imperialism.

    “The Garbage Man Can!!!”

I can’t believe I can still remember that song, but it’s what immediately popped into my head upon seeing this image.

Remember, during American Slavery there were groups of people who were against the racism and slavery during that time…

It may not have been a massive movement but still.

      It’s not modern thinking

      He endorsed RFK Junior.

Also, there have been plenty of people throughout history who lived in “ignorant” cultures who weren’t racist, misogynistic, etc.

Being afraid of the unlike is natural. Overcoming that fear, makes you civilized.

I actually completely agree with your perspective and also have no idea what you’re talking about. Is Pierce Brosnan the historical figure in this scenario?

My personal completely unprovable theory is that when the Qanon crowd was getting excited about JFK Jr returning as a zombie to lead them to the promised land it got started from a discussion about RFK Jr and somebody made a typo that the rest of the clown show latched on to.

Or maybe they just didn’t know the difference. Being clowns.
