Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov believes that Ukrainian pilots will be able to master F-16 fighter jets in a much faster time than the standard six months. He believes that the Ukrainian pilots will be able to master the Western fighter jets in four months.

    Is the six month duration for already experienced pilots or new pilots? I’m assuming they won’t just slap some new flier in the jet with four months but I’ve made poor assumptions before…

      Ukraine usually sends experienced soldiers who have at least some knowledge of foreign language to train abroad. I don’t think it’s different for the pilots
