DC is definitely not getting statehood under a trump administration
Nor under any other Republican administration. They’d never give up those additional house and senate seats, which would be very likely to go to the Democrats.
Easy for Trump to spin this as ‘she’s the candidate of the elites, not someone real America cares about’. If he even mentions it at all.

I think the slightest chance of Trump suddenly not being the candidate because of either his legal troubles or his shitty lifestyle are what’s keeping her going.

A split vote can easily flip a state to the other side. Hope she stays in it.
I doubt this will swing the red hats. They want “outsiders” that Washington hates.
Nothing says “outsider” like having your portrait hanging in the White House!
