Twitch was originally going to bring about a change that would mean people couldn’t work with third party sponsors.
It was worded extremely poorly, restricting your ability to how you could advertise on your stream. Disallowing “burned in ads” which are any advertisements you put on OBS, or have pre-recorded and play on your stream.
They restricted how big the ads could be on your screen, only being allowed to cover 3% of your screen.
The way it sounded it could effect people who host charity streams. A lot of people have obs ads for charity streams.
I guess it cements the reminder, Don’t trust any platform really. None of them are your friends. Anyway the video is very interesting!
Definitely if you stream on twitch, keep options open and don’t rely it on heavily.
