Several states have relaxed child labor laws in response to the cost of labor going up. Business’ were screaming “nobody wants to work (at the price we want to pay)”.

My guess is it is a charity thing where a boy scout troop or sports team “takes over” a restaurant for a set period of time (usually a day) and they get a large % of the revenue made during that time plus a donation from the franchise. The kids take the orders and the adult volunteers make the food.

A reverse image search shows this from a few subreddits and imagur, but no idea where it comes from, does anyone know?
