Same here. Seems like it was pretty brief.

When I checked after posting, this image is loading like 1999 dial-up. Hopefully that’s just a temporary problem.
I’m not sure, but I do know that everyone I’ve ever known to go to a chiropractor for back pain has had poor results. Relief for a few days, then booking their next appointment, rinse and repeat, until eventually they stop wasting money on it.
Whoops, posted this is the wrong community. Deleting, but if it doesn’t federate, sorry!
I feel this one hard.
In my mind, before I can play a game, I need to have lots of time, nothing else that I’m doing later, and the perfect amount of energy to really concentrate on it. Unfortunately, life has gotten busy, so I’m trying to get more comfortable playing for 20min here, 20min there instead of scrolling on my phone.
You take that back!
Mine would probably love this… I’d feel weird buying something branded like this one though.
What keeps me checking every so often is the 1% of the time that it’s actually something that people are concerned about.
Like a legitimate garage/car break in, or “Hey, does anyone know who we contact to deal with ___”
Nextdoor and other neighborhood apps are really eye-opening about how paranoid a lot of people are.
So much “This man came to my front door to try to break in!” when it’s clearly a door-to-door salesman. And then there’s always that one responder that implies they would’ve had their gun ready…
No, it played normal sized CDs. The GameCube used these weird mini discs.
I’ve been noticing bugged images more often over the past week or so. I wonder what’s up.
I started actively searching for oldies after posting a random comic from the 60s/70s the other week, because people seemed to enjoy it. I like the variety!
Hmm, never heard of that one, but I’ll look it up!
I suppose it should be for anyone familiar with the comic. Just thought the surprise punch through the newspaper alone was begging for this type of format.
A little while after the Gameboy color came out, I was able to get my hands on a rechargeable battery pack, and I remember thinking that was an absolute game changer.
I don’t miss the days of everything running on batteries.
These are the subtle types of errors that are much more likely to cause problems than when it tells someone to put glue in their pizza.
From my observations, hitting 500 upvotes for a post is very good, and getting over 1k is great, especially for a niche interest community like this.
It’s extremely, extremely rare to see any post get over 2k.
Lol, you’re right. Made a quick one about my experience finding memes for Lemmy.
“Hey, what’s today’s date, Bill?”
“What do you mean you don’t know? We’d better bomb somebody!”
