I’m a very tricep-dominant bencher (my close grip is nearly the same as my regular flat bench), but I usually get stuck mid-range.

Curious about the safety straps, wouldn’t you want the high side to be near your head/chest so the bar rolls away from you? As it stands it looks like it would roll into your body.

I knew I could hit this weight (famous last words lol), and I rarely fail lifts. Incline doesn’t worry me with failing since I can hold it and literally just stand up, or roll it down. I’m usually very anal about safeties, but I knew I could hit this…

2-4 or 5 I’d say is the hardest. Just annoying little shits that occupy all your time, and the real cute baby stage is well done and over. 4-7 ish they start developing real interests and you can do actual stuff with them. 8-13 or so they’re just annoying kids again. 13-20 they just annoying teenagers lol

Try to just enjoy the little moments that are awesome. You are never getting those back.

But seriously 2-3 sucks… There’s a reason they say it’s the “terrible 2s”. You really are doing awesome! Nobody ever prepared me for how fucking awful being a parent is … And it never ends. I’m constantly tired. Like I said though, it’s just different through the different stages.

  • What do you mean? I’m an active member in DSA for years now. I’m active in rapid response groups. I’m fighting against Proud Boys and ICE. I make and distribute whistle kits. I’m part of the Community Defense working group and I help marshal events, and add security. I make maps and voter lists for our electoral working group to canvass. I march with striking workers and provide labor support. I provide child care so people can attend events like chapter meetings without worrying about their kids. I’m active in our campaigns against datacenters and flock cameras; I’ve gone to many many board meetings and town halls to voice these concerns and get the communities active. Similar with our BDS campaign. I’ve personally gotten many people signed up and active.

    What have you done lately?
