  • Liked the beginning and the general premise but somehow further it went more it fell apart for me. On one hand I do appreciate how they wanted to tell contained, intimate story in this setting but I dunno, couldn’t get past how after the Manson style massacre they would be pretty much left to their own devices to sort it out somehow. Among other bits. Shame cause I think there was some potential here.

  • Kill one another? No way I could buy any other resolution so I really did not appreciate the ending which implied that they might continue with mission as they are in some warped way both on the same level now.

I don’t think any specifics about the mission were mentioned other that it was going to take another 4 years. So yep they were having some nice round trip across the space hell knows where doing fuck knows what.

  • Just finished Death Stranding, kind of a mixed bag, feels like gave it much more of my time than it deserved, but that’s the damn neurotic completionist in me that can’t uninstall a gave without getting the damn platinum. Need to work on it. Loved crossing the terrain, looking for paths, making everything to be more accessible, the whole damn delivering system was quite enjoyable. Fighting and shooting not so much, but can live with those considering they were not the main focus (

that fight with Higgs was such a chore though, did not enjoy a second of it

). And the story well, there were some good ideas there surely but the whole narrative and presentation of it did not have me invested at all. Lack of relatable, sympathetic characters didn’t help either. And what kind of bullshit was that never ending ending? Still, spent almost 100h on it and enjoyed most of it to some extent. Definitely won’t be picking up sequel though.

Started (barely) Hellblade now and wow, they surely now how to pull one such as myself into a story immediately. Too early to be passing any judgement but looks promising.
