I’m not sure. Some years ago a friend and me figured out, during a vacation it would be fun to take a lot of shrooms and just lie on the beach on a day like on the picture. We tripped our brain but we became crustaceans from outside from the sun, it hurt as hell for a week.

I read the comment, it was more like targeted generally to the topic, I didn’t wanted to sound personal.

I save the email address and phone numbers of the people I worked with to my address book. Why would I need linkedin for that. I read news of my profession from blogs in an rss reader, so I can stay up to date. I follow specific forums, and comment there frequently. Linkedin is just one more social shit you can live without perfectly fine. Of course if you don’t want to live without it, you can’t

I never said it wasn’t useful (mostly for headhunters and HR people), but it always had shady tactics and if you didn’t know it’s original purpose you could think it’s some not fully legal scam company…

Linkedin became known as a terrible platform when it spammed every email address the web, it was like 10 years ago. Than it was bought by M$. What did you expect? Suddenly a platform which is known for only bad things becomes the epitome of correctness?

The most communist part is that the whole process is fully managed by the government tax office, not some 3rd party private company.

The not communist part is that it takes unbelievable amount of corruption to program and maintain these services under the hood. They figured out that it’s hard to measure how much human work needed to develop such a thing, so they can just invoice whatever unbelievable amount they want. American companies help with that as well. Windows and Office license for state offices 3-4 times higher than the normal price for consumers, because for some reason they can’t buy it directly from Microsoft, they have to buy from local appointed dealers… Actually MS was fined for this for USD 8.7 Million, the local party in one of this deal was promoted to higher government position afterwards.

So actually this doesn’t exist for making the peasant’s life easier, just to have jobs to steal from… It’s just accidental that our small life becomes a bit less miserable during the process.
