  • Like others have said, it’s speaker wires. That’s not what you’d used for electrical wiring. Nothing wrong with being cautious and checking for voltage with a multimeter, but those are most likely speaker wires.

The reason there are probably so many wires is they may have had a stereo receiver located there for patio audio or something similar with a cable box as one of the inputs on the receiver.

You might look into buying a tone and probe kit if you are having trouble locating the wires. A toner runs an audio tone through the wires and the probe wand has a speaker that helps you hear and follow the sound that runs down the wire.

  • Lmao damn dude. I mean you’re not wrong.

You spend 2 months within spitting distance of each other with nothing but some thin cloth for walls and everyone either knows or is in everyone’s business. It’s sorta like being forever in high school. There’s gonna be drama.

  • AI aside, this is kind of a dumb argument to make. And yes I get it’s a meme, but the point it making is still stupid.

Plants can have value other than just as a food source. There’s nothing wrong with cultivating decorative flowers, shrubs, or trees. By this argument everyone should have a small garden or farm yard else they’re wasting time/resources, ignoring that garden/farm plants may require more time and resources to raise and care for.

Lawns do serve a purpose other than just looking nice as well. In many areas if you don’t have a lawn, you’ve got a dust and dirt flying everywhere when the wind picks up.

Either way, the argument should be more in favor of native plants and wildflowers if it was to make a better point. Not to say there aren’t also native grasses out there.
