These types of fridges are fairly common in the US, and usually the freezer is on the left. Some models also have ice dispensers. If you have the space for it and a large family, it’s very practical.

One problem with grassy lines is that when you need to temporarily use replacement buses (like in cases of issues with the electricity or maintenance, etc.) they can’t drive on the lines and have to take the regular roads with the cars.
At the moment one tram line in my city has been interrupted for a few weeks and that’s how I noticed that the grassy line was making things more complicated for the buses that are used instead.
I think that’s one reason why most cities only put a few sections with grass.
Very impressive! How big is your garden?
I hear you about the squash…they’re very prolific!
My sunflowers are also taking their sweet time for some reason, even though all my neighbours’ are already flowering, as well as the ones in the fields nearby. But I have hope!
From the Post article :
A proponent of uncooked herbivorous fare, the Kasan native claimed she ate a “completely raw vegan diet” for the last four years, consuming just “fruits, sunflower seed sprouts, fruit smoothies, and juices.”
I feel you, I’m a knitter as well and the amount of people who have suggested I start selling…they don’t understand the real value of hand-made items because they’ve been used to buying mass-produced crap from the other side of the world.
My cat used to just lie down right next to my face and purr as loudly as possible to wake me up.
I get your frustration. I live in Geneva and people here also seem to be addicted to their cars and precious parking spaces even though it’s just not sustainable for the density of the city.
What kills me is that those are red states, which means some of those pro-choice voters are okay voting for pro-birthers come election time and then go all pikachu face when their rights are taken from them.
I’m a flexitarian myself and I wish more people would just do that, just realise that they’re eating too much meat for their health anyway and cut it down to 2 or 3 times a week.
Thank you, maybe I’ll try letting a few go red to compare. I’m usually disappointed by my pepper however this year is particularly good for them.
Thanks, although I can’t take too much credit for the heatwave and sunny climate we’ve had since May 😅 I’m looking forward to tasting them, they look very promising and that small plant is producing a ton!
Ah that’s good to know!
I usually do red peppers, it’s my first time trying green ones and I’m a bit hesitant about when the best time to pick them is. They grow so slowly, it’s hard to tell whether they’ve reached their full size yet.
Can confirm: almost every new person I tell about my ulcerative colitis asks me whether I’ve tried X or Y diet, or some naturopathic bs.
Left to right : ‘patio snack’, ‘marketmore’ and I’m not sure for the zucchini.
There are only two people in this household, I don’t know what we’ll do apart from giving away a ton of veggies.
OP, what is your watering schedule, and do you mulch? This will probably be the larger cause of your blossom end rot. Yes, you can try and save as many untouched tomatoes immediately by adding a tomato specific fertiliser or calcium, but your real issue is probably watering.

That creamy garlic sauce sounds interesting. Care to give us your recipe?
