Under the office VPN, internet, particularly out of the intranet, is pretty slow.

That’s the reason, when starting librewolf, from the tab of a previous session, it takes quite some time (mins) to show up, and when accessing URLs from without librewolf, like thunderbird, it takes similar amount of time to get into the new tab for that URL. When opening an URL from librewolf itself is faster, since it just opens the tab, and then attempts to reach the URL.

I’m wondering if I can get the same UI behavior when starting librewolf, and when accessing URLs from without librewolf. Let librewolf just show up immediately in the 1st case, and eventually show whatever it was accessing on the current tab. And let librewolf open a new tab immediately in the 2nd case, and eventually show the URL content…

Is this something that can be configured somehow? I know this is UI rather than security/privacy, but the FF default behavior is really annoying under pretty slow internet connections…
