To get a wikipedia page, each project has to be notable enough.

Tldr; Each project has to “receive significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject.” In practice this means media coverage from like cnn, vice, vox, etc.

The fediverse has many projects already so it might not be feasible for them all the have their own wikipedia pages. But even projects like pleroma don’t have wikipedias and pleroma is quite big.

    What are projects that already have media coverage. Mastodon sure has, they are listed on joinmastodon.org, but what about the others?

        From the list provided in OP, quite a few projects already have a Wikipedia page. Like Mastodon, Diaspora, Friendica, GNU Social, and PeerTube.
