I have a KVM switch by startech (for $120) that uses keyboard shortcuts to switch to the other PC (I. E. Ctrl ctrl + 1 or 2), and I use it to switch my keyboard really quick when I’m holding my daughter (she loves to mash the keyboard). It works well enough

Back in the early days of wireless keyboards/mice I had a set that had off switches to save battery when not in use
there are keyboards like that and should be easy enough to mod a normal keyboard to do that
