Edit: I am turning this into a megathread as the arrests are reviving the flames of the resistance. Put the thread in “chat” mode (next to hot, top, new, old) if you want to follow as I’ll be posting in comments.

They gave the Zionist occupier a chase for almost 5 days even as the whole of the occupying forces were set on them and more than 200 checkpoints were set up.

Four are still on the run. We wish them the best, inshallah.

It’s important in this case to note that 5 of the prisoners were from the Jihad, and one (I think the one on the right in my picture) was a commander from the Al-Aqsa brigade, from Fatah. Al-Qassam (Hamas) brigade has also made a statement underlining the bravery of these fighters.

The recapture may lead to the three factions picking up arms together again, like we saw during sword of Jerusalem.

edit: yep, Hamas is firing rockets from Gaza as we speak.

Armed Palestinians are trading bullets with zionist forces at the Al-Jalama checkpoint. They are also using explosives.

The al-Jalama checkpoint regulates access from the West Bank and so it’s somewhat safe to assume this is an attack from the Al-Aqsa brigades.

Huge protests erupted a few hours ago in Jenin, in solidarity with the recaptured resistance members.

While this is not as big as operation Sword of Jerusalem for which there was also a megathread a few months back, this could escalate again as the zionist occupier, it seems, never learns their lesson. It may also provide cover to the remaining 4 escapees to safely escape.

Abu Obeyda, spokesman for the al-Qassam Brigades, held a press conference earlier today. In it, he declared that future prisoner exchange deals between Hamas and the occupier would include the 4 recaptured fighters.

He also comforted the people of Jenin, by saying they are not left alone. While vague, this clearly means Hamas is willing and ready to help militarily – most likely through rocket barrages, as I don’t think they have a presence in the West Bank.

The press conference was followed by a rocket launched from Gaza towards the zionist entity.
