Can confirm. This is almost a daily occurence in IT departments.
I just turn off the power while its in standby, Linux doesnt care.
Ive had to do this a couple of time like if Wayland froze and I can’t switch to a TTY (REISUB doesn’t work cause Arch has it disabled by default)
Meh, my first pc had a reset button to smother and revive it in one go which I regularly used :D
But I really appreciate that modern databases and filesystems don’t suffer from near-death PTSD anymore…
