I noticed that feddit.de is in Lemmy’s instance list, but not in Lemmygrad’s instance list. Is it intended that I can’t get posts from an instance that’s not on Lemmygrad’s list, even if it is on lemmy.ml’s list? (And if so, can feddit.de be added to Lemmygrad’s list?)

Exactly! Lemmygrad and lemmy.ml have their own separate lists of instances allowed for federation. Therefore, Lemmygrad’s admin has to add feddit.de into the instance’s allowlist.
