I was flipping was trying to DIY plumb clean our sink upstairs with pipe removals thinking it was a “quick fix” but man I was doing other things to try to fix it (hot water, vinegar, etc) as it wasn’t easy nor quick! So it’s time I got my “fix”!

Let’s go ahead and go through how I made these impossible burgers IMPOSSIBLE to look apart from the “real” thing without involving leasing violations. :)

First rev up that sucker to 450F and wait several minutes while it gets to temp.

Next when it’s nearly just about done bust out the metal grated cooling rack and cookie sheet.

Place the cooling rack on top/in the sheet and slap those “patties” on.

If the oven is still reving up, it’s okay just chuck em in and wait 5 minutes.

Flip them over (it may be a bit tricky to do so even though they aren’t really sticky at all, so you might need to nub them to flip with the oven metts.).

Clock down the oven to 425F and while we are waiting…

Get anything that might need to melt/get hot on top of them and the buns. Wait until the bare “patties” been going strong for 4 minutes then throw those buns in as BACK as the rack as possible.

Now get the broiler rolling and sat! Wait about 30 seconds between burger AND buns’ flips.

Kill the heat entirely and add your desired melty topper for like another 30 seconds in the unheated but still very hot oven. Bringing the buns in front of YOU now to prevent excess toasting.

Now enjoy your Meyers’ rich “patties” (it’s might even “satiate” a meat eater!), melty topper and finally of course well toasted buns!
