Interesting seeing Xiaomi become bigger while Huawei suffers from US sanctions. I think the US should lift Huawei’s sanctions but hey

They may have protected themselves a bit in the past at least, by being very tightly coupled to google. At least my redmi note 7, before I installed a different rom, had lots of googleware on it.
I doubt it’ll stay that way tho, most of the new xiaomi phones aren’t available to be shipped via aliexpress to the US like they used to be. We could see completely new non aosp OS’s in the future as the trade war continues.
