So as Marxists we understand that anarchism doesn’t end well(even if it was tried, in order to maintain the system they’d need some semblance of control/power being given and share) but as leftists we also understand that agitation and propaganda against the capitalist state also is useful in its own way. I guess Idk how to really explain it but I’m interested in at least learning more about regions that have an anarchist tendency to learn why they have those “anti-authoritarian” views when it comes to dismantling the capitalist regimes of the word? Idk they may even have a few decent points and justifications for their opinions, obviously misunderstanding several key aspects of Marxism but still.

Germany but their anarchists are more of an aesthetic punk scene than a political one. 0 theory and no real anarchist Praxis, they just start cooperatives and then buy beer and run punk bars.

Edit: oh they do march and protest against nazis, but they also support NATO and Israel and they equate communism with fascism so…

why they have those “anti-authoritarian” views when it comes to dismantling the capitalist regimes of the word?

This all comes from the philosophical tradition of western liberalism: Locke, Hobbes, Hume, Bacon, DeCartes, right on down through to the anarchist thinkers who took their individualist stances and emphasis on “personal freedom”, as a given.

Part of the ideological basis for the rise of capitalism was a rejection of the “communal” nature of feudal society, and these authors all influenced the arising capitalist classes to rebuild society on an individualist basis. They rejected not only the strict hierarchy and immobility to move between groups of feudalism, but also the peasant reliance on their community and its traditions as a source of support. That support and communitarian spirit needed to be gotten rid of for enclosure (moving the peasants off the land and into factories), to take place. Simply put, liberalism is, “the freedom to get away with whatever you can no matter who it harms”.

So pretty much every country where selfish individualism is seen as a societal virtue, anarchism is the strongest leftist tendency. So mainly in the euroamerikkkan countries.

There’s some good lectures on the philosophy of liberalism by Taimur Rahman (that might be one of the good ones iirc).
